We are setting up the foundations for a world-class growth engine for Serverpod — the backend for Flutter developers.

Serverpod is an open-source app server for Flutter, founded by a former Google engineer with a background on the Flutter team in Silicon Valley. It is built by a team with experience from Minecraft, Zynga, Spotify, Warner Bros., and many other notable companies. Our mission is to empower Flutter developers to build and scale apps faster with a backend that feels native.

We’re looking for an experienced data and analytics engineer or consultant to help us design and implement our first unified metrics and tracking pipeline across our website, Academy, docs, and products. You’ll own the overall strategy, setup, and integration that will allow us to understand how users find and engage with Serverpod.

This is a one-month contract project, available either on site in Stockholm or remote-friendly, with the potential for ongoing collaboration.

You will:

• Design a unified approach for tracking and analyzing user journeys across all Serverpod properties.
• Define consistent attribution and conversion tracking standards.
• Build visibility into funnels, conversions, and user engagement.
• Work closely with the core team to ensure data accuracy and actionable insights.

You should have:

• Proven experience implementing analytics or data tracking systems end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of attribution, cookies, and user journey analysis.
• Familiarity with developer-focused products, open source, or SaaS is a plus.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
